Customers

One profile for contact details, billing information, travel history and itineraries. Created automatically when a lead becomes Quoted or Won.

Customers are a premium feature. Each customer is a standalone record, separate from the lead it came from, so one traveler keeps a single profile even when they enquire again.

How a customer is created#

  • Changing a lead to Quoted or Won creates or links a customer automatically.
  • The lead stores the link to that customer. Later itineraries and quotations are attached to the customer, not to the lead itself.
  • If a matching customer already exists in your organisation, it is reused. This avoids a new record every time the same traveler moves through your pipeline.
  • Customers are private to your organisation. Another agency can never read your customer list.

Customer list#

  1. Open All Customers.
  2. Search by name, email, phone or GSTIN.
  3. Filter by assigned agent when that filter is available.
  4. Select a row to open the customer profile.

Rows show name, phone, email and city. The list is paginated, so use the pagination controls to move through results.

Customer profile#

The profile has three tabs:

  • Details: contact and billing information.
  • Travel History: linked trips and leads with destination, dates, traveler count, status, source and creation date.
  • Itineraries: quotations and packages associated with the customer.
  • Quotations: when quotation records are enabled for your account, this view lists only that customer's quotations. See Quotation records, GST and status.

Customer details can include:

  • name and phone (required);
  • email;
  • billing address;
  • city, state, pincode and country (country is required);
  • GSTIN.

Edit a customer#

  1. Open the customer.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Update contact, billing, location and GST information.
  4. Save.

GSTIN is validated against the Indian GSTIN structure when supplied. Email must be valid when supplied.

Delete a customer#

  1. Open the customer profile.
  2. Select the delete action.
  3. Read the warning.
  4. Confirm.

Deletion is a soft delete. Deleted customers no longer appear in normal customer lists.

Warning

Do not delete a customer just to correct a field. Use Edit instead.

Open a trip or itinerary#

Travel History entries open the underlying lead. The Itineraries tab opens the related itinerary for review, editing, reuse or download depending on your access.

Frequently asked questions#

How do I find a customer by GST number?

Use the search box on All Customers and enter the GSTIN.

Why is a customer missing from my list?

It may have been deleted, or filters and search terms may be hiding it. Clear filters and try again.

How does a customer get created?

Automatically. When you change a lead to Quoted or Won, Miya Travel creates a customer or links an existing matching one. Use View customer from the lead to open it.

Will the same traveler create duplicate customers?

No. A matching customer in your organisation is reused instead of creating a new record.

Can I edit or delete a customer?

Yes. Use Edit to correct contact, billing or GST details. Delete is a soft delete and should not be used to fix a field.
